Shortly after, she noticed two more dogs. This prompted her curiosity about the scene across the street. Clemons inquired the mechanic if he recognized the dogs. To which he replied that they had been living in an empty barn for quite some time.
Upon realizing that the little family was in need of assistance, Clemons hurried back to her residence to grab some food for the puppies. Later on, she brought them blankets and water. There were nine puppies along with their mother who were all very hesitant of Clemons but delighted to have something to eat.Clemons reached out to Northeast Texas Rescue Organization (NETRO) and soon after, the staff arrived at the scene, ready to aid in bringing the dogs to safety. The rescuers set up traps and waited. Within two days, all nine puppies were captured by NETRO and taken to the shelter. However, the mother dog was still remaining evasive towards them.The puppies were brought to a foster home where they apprehensively observed their new surroundings. It was evident that they had never experienced love before.NETRO’s team informed The Dodo that “It was very apparent that they were not used to humans at all.”
Over time, the little pups have grown fond of their temporary home on a vast farm that offers an array of activities to keep them entertained.
