Broken-Hearted Mama Dog Waited On Roadside For Her Owners To Come Back For HerThe old dog had a large litter of puppies. There were eight little dogs in all, four black, three brown, and one spotted. The puppies loved to play together all day.

They would chase each other’s tails, tumble over one another, and bark and yelp with glee. Their favorite game was to chase bugs and lizards in the garden. They would pounce on anything that moved, their little legs and paws scrambling to catch up.

At night, the puppies would cuddle up together in a big pile, tired from their adventures. Their father, the old dog, would watch over them proudly as they slept. Though the puppies were mischievous and caused chaos, their father loved them very much. They brought so much joy and laughter into his life.

One day, the puppies discovered a bright yellow butterfly fluttering about. “Let’s chase it!” they cried. The puppies ran after the butterfly, barking excitedly. It led them on a merry chase through the garden, over bushes and under trees.

After many close calls and tumbles, the puppies finally managed to corner the butterfly. “Now, who wants to catch it first?!” they asked each other eagerly. There was a mad scrabble as all eight puppies leapt at once, paws flying.

They landed in a heap, covered in dirt and leaves, butterfly fluttering just out of reach. “Oh no, it got away!” they whimpered, disappointed. But their laughter soon returned, as they tussled and played together on the ground.

Though the butterfly escaped, the memory of the fun chase would stay with them forever.

Dog Rescue Shelter in Mladenovac, Serbia, received a call regarding a mama dog and two puppies who had been abandoned outside and were lying there on the side of the road for a few days.

The Good Samaritans tried to feed them, but the mama dog was highly protective of her puppies and wouldn’t allow anyone touch them.

When rescuers came, she was hiding in the grass by the road with her kids, attempting to protect them while waiting for her owners to come for her.

But sadly, they never would.

She was aware, thankfully, that the rescuers were come to help her, so she stayed pleasant and eager to take any food they served her.

They were shocked to discover another one in the grass just a few feet away from the mama. The puppies were only a few days old and had yet to open their eyes.

Fortunately, they were saved just in time, and the four of them were returned to their rescue.

Moli, the mama, has been a terrific mother to her puppies. She is glad and happy to be in excellent hands and to be sleeping in a warm bed rather than being stranded on the side of the road.

The small family will be cared for by the shelter until they are ready to be adopted.
